The Energy Dialogue Queensland brought together senior energy and industry leaders for a focused discussion on the future of energy transition, renewables and infrastructure. The panel featured Louisa Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Energy Council; Suzanne Falvi, Executive General Manager, Corporate Affairs at AGL; and Marianna O’Gorman, Deputy Chair of the ARENA Board.

The conversation examined Queensland’s energy transition and investment landscape, including policy, regulation and funding frameworks supporting the shift towards cleaner energy. Leaders explored the challenges of integrating renewables while maintaining grid stability, energy security, reliability and affordability, alongside opportunities emerging across hydrogen, battery storage and other clean energy technologies.

The discussion also considered the role of electrification, EV infrastructure and public-private collaboration in supporting Queensland’s future energy needs. The panel highlighted the importance of coordinated investment, innovation and cross-sector partnerships in delivering a resilient, secure and sustainable energy system.
