The Women Leaders Global Study Tour to India brought together senior women leaders from business, government, academia and the non-profit sector for an immersive 12-day leadership journey across Delhi, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Jaipur and Agra. Led by Sangeeta Venkatesan and supported by Her Excellency Harinder Sidhu AM, the tour combined high-level business briefings with cultural immersion, social enterprise engagement and opportunities for meaningful connection.
Delegates gained exclusive insights through engagements with leading organisations including Microsoft, Infosys, Cognizant, ANZ Hub, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Kyndryl, HCL and Invest India, alongside private sessions with the National Stock Exchange and Reserve Bank of India. Discussions explored India’s digital transformation, innovation economy, financial ecosystem, technology, fintech and ESG, while highlighting the country’s growing role in the global economy.
Beyond the boardroom, the tour connected participants with India’s diverse social and cultural landscape, including initiatives spanning education, microfinance, environmental justice, women’s safety and inclusive development. From the Golden Temple in Amritsar and the markets of Old Delhi to the heritage of Jaipur and the Taj Mahal in Agra, the journey provided a distinctive opportunity to build relationships, broaden perspectives and deepen understanding of India’s economic, cultural and leadership landscape.
